Hello! My name is Julia Hart, and I am a freshwater scientist based in Seattle, Washington. I completed my Master's degree in Freshwater and Marine Science program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Center for Limnology, where I studied organic carbon dynamics and greenhouse gas production on a eutrophic lake with Drs. Paul Hanson and Emily Stanley. I am passionate about science writing and science communication. Currently, I am a lab technician for Dr. Gordon Holtgrieve at the University of Washington and a Communications Assistant for the UW Freshwater Initiative.
